UPDATE: Tenancy Saver Loan Scheme
The Welsh Government has announced plans for a new Tenancy Saver Loan Scheme. This will help tenants and landlords who have struggled financially as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency.
The loan will provide an affordable way for tenants who are in rent arrears, or in danger of getting into rent arrears to meet their rent obligations. Tenants will be able to apply for a low-interest loan to cover these arrears. The loan will be paid directly to their landlord or agent to help sustain the tenant's tenancy.
